Weekly Weigh In – 22/04/13…Breaking News!
This week has been a little slow and sluggish, well that’s how I’ve been feeling at least; I know why, it’s because I’ve only been to the gym once this week.
Can’t catch a break
Monday I didn’t wake up in time which is really unlike me. I set two alarms in the morning, one at 5:40 and another at 6:00. I woke up at 5:40am, turned the alarm off but never woke up to the 6:00am one! Work that out! That was Mondays session ruined.
Wednesday’s run went great, I achieved a new personal best. I ran for 25 minutes straight! I’m chuffed with that, being able to run for 25 minutes is awesome. I can wait to run further for longer.
Friday was another missed session due to my car breaking! I wasn’t happy missing another session, but as it was due to something that I could control so I could be too unhappy.
It’s amazing how slow, sluggish and heavy I feel by missing a couple of gym sessions. It’s not just that though, I actually miss them. I find running very relaxing and destressing.
Midnight feast…I think so!
Saturday night while in my office, I had a real craving for sweet/junk food sooooo! I ate some haha! Not the best of ideas, (not just because it’s junk food) seen as it was Saturday and being so close to weigh in day. It’s just I really wanted it.
I had 3 packets of crisps, some cereal bars, a few toffee’s & fudge’s AND two McDonald’s double cheese burgers! I told you it was a feast didn’t I!
You can understand why I was feeling a little unsure about weighing last night now you know what I ate at the weekend, but and I’m quite surprised at this.
I stayed the same!
How cool is that! I’m not going back to my old way and eating crap again, oh no. I’m just happy that I can have a mini blow out like that, and get away with it. It must be a combination of things that allowed me to do that, my body’s getting healthier, my metabolism is increasing (maybe?), and I’m exercising more and more. I know I won’t be able to get away with it week after week, but that’s a good thing, I want to be, eat and live healthier.
To be brutally honest though, I think it’s my running that’s really keeping me in line, without it (exercise in general) I wouldn’t be where I am today.
This will be the last weekly weigh in post that I’ll be posting, don’t worry I’m not leaving you! I just feel posting my stats weekly isn’t beneficial to you as much as it could be. This post along with others I publish during the wee is a lot of information to consume, even overwhelming; and to be honest I’m finding it hard to stick to the schedule.
Here’s what I’m planning on doing instead, I’m going to post one monthly weigh in update. This will be packed with all my weekly weigh in info, things that I’ve changed over the month, new things, next months plans and goals etc etc. I’m sure you’ll love it and promise you it will be jam packed with useful information.
