Weekly Weigh In – 12/11/12…My first gain?!?!?
Sorry I haven't been posting for a couple of weeks I've just been really busy and I'm not really into “auto blogging mode” yet lol. Anyway! whats been happening well up till tonight I was standing in at 20 stone exactly which is a total weight loss of 2st 7lbs which I'm really pleased with and a few times this week on my home scales I saw the 19st 13lb area 🙂 which I haven't seen in, corw must be over 6/7 years at least.
Weekly Weigh In
Now lets get to tonight's weigh in, I went feeling really positive having a pretty good week, I've been doing some Wii Fit exercises here and there and I've also been doing my resistant band workouts for my arms, shoulders and legs which have been going great.
I went and got weighed and for the FIRST time since starting my weight loss program and slimming world I
put on 1lb!
I was shocked, I really couldn't believe it and was totally confused as to how I put this 1lb on, like I said I thought I had had a pretty good, normal week with nothing big out of the ordinary apart from the resistant bands and exercise increase.
Now soon as this happened I had a few people in class rush to tell me the line I heard a lot lately and that is “turning muscle to fat…muscle weighs more than fat, bla bla bla” Is that really true or is it just one of those tales to help fat people feel better lol, don't get me wrong it would make sense and I would feel better haha. I think I'm going to do some research into this and crack it once and for all.
Being serious though it has annoyed me quite a lot as it's ended my losing streak, stained my book with a +! I'm glad it's only 1lb and I'm sure I'll be able to lost that this week plus more.
I've been talking to a friend about the gym he goes to and I'm thinking of joining it with him, we plan to both go early in the mornings 2/3 time a week if possible and go on the cross trainers, running machines, light weights and a swim. I think this will really help toning up my currently weight loss and take me to the next level while shaping and toning my body for the better look I'm after.
I should be going to check out the gym this week some point after work so I'll keep you all up to date.
