BE REALISTIC – What Everyday Situations Do You Find Difficult?

Last week I announced my new upcoming series BE REALISTIC, that’s aimed at helping you with the everyday situations that make dieting and eating healthy…difficult? Ok, that was pretty tame, they make it near on impossible to eat right.

These situations happen to us all. Their inevitable, and that’s why I want to help; because they are going to happen at some time, or another. The last thing I want is for these situations to make you feel as though you can’t eat anything because there’s nothing good (technically) so instead you go hungry… how happy does that make you and your stomach? I know the answer because I’ve been there all too often.

The thing is most of the situations that happen to use are good, and should be enjoyed; instead we dread them all because of the food! That’s no way to live, is it?

I need your help, right now!

I want you to share with me the situations that you find hard to deal with and would like me to write about first.

Here are a few examples to give you an idea of what I mean,

  • Birthdays
  • Weddings
  • Office parties
  • Movies
  • Days out
  • Clubbing
  • Boredom
  • Stressed
  • Home from work late
  • Road trips

Get the idea?

I know you’ve got at least one so leave it in the comments below; it doesn’t matter if someones already said it, say it again then I’ll know the most important ones to start with.

Thanks so much!

Hi! I'm Darran Mansfield, I've been on the Slimming World diet for about 10 months, and I've lost 5 and a half stone (74lbs/34kgs), I'm by no means a weight loss expert, but I do have first hand experience, and that's what I'm here to share with you. I'm looking for a healthy, sustainable lifestyle that's enjoyable yet maintainable in today's modern life. If that's what you want, you should stick around, I'm sure you'll find something helpful and don't forget to say hi to me on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ or Instagram.

Hi Shelly, thanks for your comment 🙂

First I know how you feel, I’ve been there, and I know it sucks. Would I be right saying the situations you find hard are, cooking for non-dieters and evening sweet cravings or is it boredom?
